Roping & Riding

By Carol Spicer.

Friday evening brought the annual Clifton Chamber of Commerce Rodeo Parade through downtown, prior to the evening’s Thunder River Rodeo performances in the CHSA arena at the fairgrounds. The annual parade rolled down Main Street with sirens blaring and loads of candy and other treats being thrown to the kids in the crowd. Lead by the Clifton police department and fire trucks, the parade also sported the colors being carried by mounted members of the Clifton Horse Show Association, clowns, Girl Scouts, and loads of classic vehicles including Terry Watson’s beautiful Cadillac.
