Dutch NATO troops train on Bosque battleground

The distinctive low-frequency double rotor “thuck-thuck-thuck” and the accompanying motor whir of a Chinook helicopter is the first indication that something is about to happen. But it is difficult to tell where the sound is coming from. The heavy-lift heli suddenly rises above a north tree line at the Bosque County Texas Safari Ranch, the rotor wash whipping up grass, bending branches and sending leaves flurrying.
