Graveside services for Margaret “Peg” Elizabeth Stolte, 91, were held May 10, 2014, at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Don Kingman officiating. Margaret Lausch was born on May 12, 1922, in Lancaster County PA, to Lela Schwab and Stephen Lausch. She passed away on May 6, 2014, at Hillcrest Baptist Hospital. She graduated from Reading Hospital Nursing School with an RN degree in 1945. On Dec. 8, 1945, she married Al Stolte. The couple had two children. She lived in Waco from 1945 to 2001, when she moved to moved to Clifton. She was a registered nurse for 47 years. She was President of District 10 Nurse’s Association and volunteered as a Hospice worker after retirement. After retirement, she enjoyed country living and canning vegetables from the garden. She also enjoyed poetry, classic movies, sewing, quilting, gardening, cross stitch artistry, gospel music, cooking, and making homemade ice cream. Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Robison and husband, Charles, and Sue Ann Kingman and husband, Don; grandchildren, Lance “Rusty” Robison and wife, Raquel, Brian Charles Robison and wife, Rami, Amy Burroughs and husband, Mark Hostetter, and Stephen and Amanda Burroughs; and great-grandchildren, Hannah and Jenny Robison; Brooke, Luke and Morgen Hostetter; brother-in-law Bill Laub; and numerous nieces and nephews. Clifton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
