Putting it to the vote

Recently, the Clifton Independent School District Board of Trustees unanimously voted on a bond election to be held May 10, totaling $23.3 million, to include a new elementary school and a new 750-seat auditorium at the high school. In a report on the CISD website, it notes that the current elementary facility falls short of TEA requirements such as the size and core spaces of classrooms; as well as outlasting its functional student capacity requiring the use of portable buildings.
