During a lengthy meeting on Thursday, Feb. 20, the Clifton Economic Development Corporation approved a grant to the City of Clifton for the Main Street downtown public access Wi-Fi project in the amount of $4,495; and to Bosque Arts Center for a fire protections system and improvements to the existing elevator in the amount of $125,000. Main Street’s Tom Byrd spoke on the need for Wi-Fi in the downtown area, saying that he has had positive feedback from all the downtown merchants – noting the full house in attendance at the meeting.
