By Carol Spicer.

What started out as a fast action game never slowed down turned into a solid win 60-53, for the Cubs at home last week against Hillsboro. A balanced game, the Cubs took the first and third quarters 11-8, and the second and third quarters 19-17 and 19-20. The Cubs built the score on the leading points put up by Zach Thiele, 15; along with Andre Mayr, 10; Shepherd Green and Luis Enriques with eight each; Grant Shane, seven; and Hunter Harris, Raymond Sadler and Dustin Andrews, with four each.
