Even though different religions, cultures and doctrines consider different core virtues, the thing they have in common is that a virtue is a positive trait or quality deemed to be morally good and thus is valued as a foundation of principle and good moral being. Last Monday, Bosque County residents who exhibited the great virtue of charity through selfless donation of their time, efforts and energy through their work as volunteers were recognized and honored at the annual Volunteer Recognition Awards Program. The event, which was attended by over 100 people, was held in the Civic Center and is a collaboration between the Bosque County Commissioners’ Court and the Extension AgriLife Leadership Advisory Board.
