Sandwiched between World War II and the Vietnam War, the Korean War is often overlooked in discussions of the 20th century’s massive global conflicts and as such is dubbed the “Forgotten War.” But on Nov. 22, soldiers of the Forgotten War were not forgotten. Bosque County Korean War Veterans were honored with a luncheon at the Meridian Civic Center, hosted by the Bosque River Valley chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. “This is the first time we, as Korean veterans have been recognized,” Clifton’s Trent Knudson said.
