Clifton drops heartbreaker to Godley

If Dallas Cowboy owner Jerry Jones had been there, it might have called it a moral victory. After all, the Clifton Cubs traveled to Godley to take on the heavily-favored Wildcats last Friday night and held onto a slim lead with just 1:11 left in the game. But it wasn’t meant to be as the Cubs left Godley with mixed emotions regarding their heartbreaking 17-14 loss in a key District 12-2A, Division I contest.
