CTYF Kicks Up Some Dust for 82nd Year

Livestock moves in, exhibitor’s breakfast held Thursday

This morning, livestock started moving
in to the barns and will be weighed
throughout the day for the kickoff of the
82nd Central Texas Youth Fair and Rodeo.
Judging of rabbits will take place at 8
p.m., this evening, with a watermelon social
also held from 8-9 p.m.
Thursday morning will start early with
the annual exhibitor’s breakfast at the Clifton
Civic Center, from 6:30-8 a.m., served
by the Clifton Lions Club and co-hosted
by Bosque County Properties Real Estate.
Judging of jackpot lambs will begin at 8
a.m. on Thursday, followed by judging of
jackpot goats. Judging of the ag mechanics
show will be at 1 p.m., with the judging
of the jackpot steers at 2 p.m., followed
by the jackpot heifers. Judging of market
swine will be at 6 p.m.
Friday events at the fairgrounds begin at
8 a.m. with the judging of market lambs,
followed by the market goats at 9 a.m.
