Meridian Independent School District Superintendent Scott Hogue’s last board meeting before his departure March 31 was filled with personnel matters – teacher contract considerations, vacation guidelines and a new position. In matters of teacher contract consideration, the principals and Athletic Director make recommendations to Meridian Independent School District’s superintendent. The school board has a final say in the matter of extending or ending employee contracts.
