Meridian boys, girls track take third

RIO VISTA – In their final tune-up for the Annual Straight A Relays, the Meridian boys and girls track teams enjoyed a solid day at Rio Vista’s Cow Pasture Relays last Thursday. The Yellowjacket boys placed third with 87 points behind meet champion Tolar (216) and runner-up Venus (124), while the Lady Jackets finished in third place as well with 99.5 points, trailing Millsap (161) and Tolar (133).
