About The Clifton Record

The Clifton Record, founded in 1895, has been published since 1979 by Progressive Media Communications, Inc., a corporation owned by James W. Smith and W. Leon Smith. The Record is Clifton's oldest continuing business and the oldest operating newspaper in Bosque County. It is published weekly and serves Bosque County and surrounding areas.
